SJSI now offering REQB
The Polish software quality organization SJSI is now offering the internationally recognized REQB certification scheme. SJSI also serves as Polish Testing Board of ISTQB. This shows one time more the close connection between these two leading schemes in the field of IT Quality.
REQB stands for Requirements Engineering Qualifications Board. The REQB scheme was developed in cooperation with international experts. Professionals from all over the world have been certified in REQB since the past years. Therefore it is not a surprise that REQB is one of the leading certification in it’s field. It serves as a language for Requirements Engineering.
Folke Nilsson, chair of REQB: “REQB is already today the biggest scheme on Requirements Engineering in Poland. We are now more than happy that we got together with SJSI to develop and further establish REQB on the Polish market. Poland has high potential in growing economically from REQB and increase it’s collaboration-work on an international business level. The Requirements Engineering Qualifications Board (REQB) was established in 2006. Its members are international experts for Requirements Engineering (RE), who are working on a global RE program which is ISO17024 compliant. As a result, the board intends to create an international standard that will be recognized as the common language in the discipline of Requirements Engineering. As of September 2014, professionals from more than 40 countries have been certified according to this standard.

Main target of Stowarzyszenie Jakości Systemów Informatycznych (SJSI) is to support all people working in software quality. SJSI is a platform for exchanging experiences for persons, who works in problems connecting with software system quality. The basic SJSI interest is testing; hence we are serving as Polish testing Board in ISTQB. Members of SJSI translate to Polish basic ISTQB documents: glossary, syllabi for foundation and advanced level. SJSI organized also exams for certificate testers – in Polish and English.
SJSI organizes TestWarez - well known on Polish market conference connecting software quality questions – in this year we’ll celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Conference. SJSI patronizes also other events connecting with testing and software quality in Poland, local meetings of people working in testing and software quality.
