Indian Testing Board new REQB Member Board

The Indian Testing Board (ITB) is now Member Board for India inside the REQB scheme, the Requirements Engineering Qualifications Board. ITB is now acting as the local exam board offering paper based and online examinations in India. The board is also the single point of contact for REQB accreditations in India.

Vipul Kocher, president of ITB: “Requirements Engineering is becoming more and more important in India. As Software Testing and Requirements Engineering are closely connected in many areas we have many people interested in that scheme in India. I am very happy that ITB is now the local board for this global scheme for Requirements Engineering”.

About ITB
ITB is the country board for the ISTQB Certified Tester scheme in India. These Board Members are highly experienced experts in software testing, requirements engineering and business analysis. All members volunteer their time to develop, maintain and promote certification schemes like ISTQB and IQBBA in their country. As a result of international cooperation with many other national boards are truly international certification schemes.

The Requirements Engineering Qualifications Board (REQB) was established in 2006. Its members are international experts for Requirements Engineering (RE), who are working on a global RE program which is ISO17024 compliant. As a result, the board intends to create an international standard that will be recognized as the common language in the discipline of Requirements Engineering. As of September 2014, professionals from more than 40 countries have been certified according to this standard.
