GASQ on Cebit panel discussion

GASQ Secretary General Werner Henschelchen attended the Computerweek's panel discussion about "chances and perspectives for software tester".

The discussion took place as part of Computerweek's initiative "Future IT" on the Cebit in Hannover. Together with Werner Henschelchen also Matthias Ziegler (Microsoft), André Mollin (Sogeti), Michaela Sattinger (Cirquent), Jörg Limberg (HP) and Matthias Rasking (Accenture) attended in this round. Especially the globally leading ISTQB Certified Tester scheme has been recommended as the standard for successful software testers.

As a résumé of the discussion can be educed that there is a great demand for software testers. But it is also important that software testers have a good education and a good knowledge in the field of software testing. The ISTQB certification which is offered by GASQ helps here to demonstrate knowledge," said Werner Henschelchen.
