New REQB Foundation Level Syllabus released
The internationally leading REQB scheme has released its new REQB CPRE Foundation Level syllabus 2014. The whole syllabus, which can be seen as a standard in the field of Requirements Engineering, has been re-written by a team of international RE-experts. The update is classified as a major one and contains a new syllabus structure.
TestingCup 2014
Polish Championship in Software Testing will be held at the Polish National Stadium in Warsaw. The event will take place on June, 2-3.
This is the second attempt to find the best software testers in Poland. The first TestingCup took place in September 2013.
Saab Dynamics transitions successfully to TickITplus
Saab Dynamics AB has successfully transitioned from TickIT to TickITplus. The leading providers of military defence and civil security products and services became certified under the TickITplus scheme in January 2014.
REQB now in Latin America
The international Requirements Engineering certification scheme REQB is now also active in Latin America. The Latin American Association for Software Certification (LAASC) is now acting as the regional REQB board in Latin America supporting the Spanish and Portuguese regions.
REQB Conference and REQB GA in Stockholm
In Stockholm a conference about REQB and the importance of Requirements Engineering has been taken place. Next to the successful conference organized by ITQ also the REQB General Assembly was hosted in Sweden's capital. The group of volunteer RE experts mostly worked on a new Introduction to RE that will be published soon.
Chris Carter from Australia is the new president of ISTQB
ISTQB®, the International Software Testing Qualifications Board, has chosen Mr. Chris Carter, founder of Planit Australia and a respected figure in software testing internationally, to be its new elected president for 2013-2014.
