gasq is offering exams for the ISTQB® Certified Tester on behalf of certain National boards that are official members of the ISTQB®. You can take the Foundation Level exam and the Advanced Level exam. The prices of the respective National boards apply.

Here you can find the conditions for paper-based and online ISTQB exams:

• The ISTQB exams are multiple choice tests
• The exam is a closed book exam
• A cross in the wrong place results in 0 points being awarded
• A singularly phrased question does not necessarily mean that only one answer is correct
• For any language without English: The exam can include English words
• Attention should be paid to ensure that answers are marked clearly
• To pass 65% must be achieved
• The duration of the Foundation Level examination is 60 minutes + 25% extra time for Non-Native speaker
• The duration of every Advanced Level modul examination is 180 minutes + 25% extra time for Non-Native speaker
• Questions during the examination are not permitted and may not be answered
• Please use a pen, not a pencil
• Screenshots are strictly prohibited
• It is forbidden to copy or spread the exam questions
• Notes may only be made on the examination paper; a place for notes is reserved at the back of the paper
• Notes will not be read or evaluated
• Results will be communicated by E-Mail within two weeks of the examination
• An inspection of the exam is possible in the main office of gasq against a fee of 50,00 €; during the inspection it is not allowed to take any notes; the inspection is only a comparision between target and actual
• The certificate will be dispatched following receipt of the invoiced amount, by post and within 6 weeks
• It is not allowed to leave the room or go to the toilet during the exam
• Mobile phones must be switched of during the exam
• The test paper may be submitted before the end of the test
• Participants must leave the test area after submission of the examination
• Photo identification (identity card, passport, driving licence) must be presented
• The examination paper must be returned in any case
• According to the rules of the boards it is strictly forbidden to send out anyexam paper
  
• Legal actions against the result of the exam are excluded
• It is allowed to use a dictionary (without any handwritten notes in it) during the exam
